As far as close as here by photographers/directors Prissilya Junewin and Ale Ruiz-Zorilla was launched on Nowness. The short film explores East and South East Asian diasporic identity, tracing generational reflections on assimilation, belonging, and difference.

We were commissioned to design the title and credits. For the title treatment, we experimented with soy sauce as ink, a playful yet poignant metaphor for nostalgia, joy and longing. We were introduced to the directors through mutual friend Emily.
