Accelerate is the education arm of Open City, the organisation behind London’s Open House festival. It works to close the diversity gap in architecture through mentorship programmes for secondary school students.

We began by meeting alumni and mentors to understand what makes Accelerate unique. From these conversations, we created a flexible series of logomarks showing fists holding a key. The different colours reflect the diversity of the students, while the key ties the sub-brand back to Open City and symbolises young people gaining access to the city.
