Jim Mooney is an artist working across paintings and other mixed media with a visual language built from repetition, rhythm, and the dot as a recurring mark. For his website, we set out to translate that same instinct for pattern into a digital space that felt like an extension of the work rather than a container for it.

The dot became our starting point and our constraint  carried through as a structural device across layout, navigation, and transitions, echoing the way it punctuates his paintings. The colour palette was pulled directly from his practice, so the site reads less like a portfolio and more like another surface he's worked on.
